Becoming Vegan
I look back at a calendar I created in 2003, yes awhile ago and I see on my calendar vegan, vegan, vegan.
At this time I did not really know what vegan was but it was on my calendar.
Before the transition to adapting to a mostly vegan/plant based diet I gradually became a vegetarian, this happened after a gradual elimination of animal products.
Since I embraced yoga in 2009 while becoming a yoga teacher in Thailand and afters 3 years of living in China off and on which opened my eyes to the buddhist diet and a desire to not harm animals and create a life of ahimsa, non violence.
Fast forward to today and I am on the journey of learning, integrating and implementing a plant based vegan fuelled lifestyle since 2016, it will be 10 years in 2026.

Beauty & Skin Care
My favourites are any product that is first made for sensitive skin, has natural organic ingredients and is of course vegan.
I'm going to spare you all the details of my skin and beauty challenges and just jump right into what works inside and out for healthy skin when nothing else works!
I'm not an expert, I am only sharing my experience.
Tips for sensitive skin: maintain hydration, supplement with vitamins, exercise, relaxation, wellness days, facials, professional and at home, cool or ice baths for the face and or body when needed, face masks, clay rose masks and natural organic vegan based products for cleansing, makeup and supplements.
When out of balance see a doctor or dermatologist or take on a cleansing diet and detox the internal organs.
There are also specific yoga positions and techniques that help maintain skin and overall health that can be practiced.
